Mass Torts

We know how difficult it is for a single person to bring a case against a large corporation or entity. The enormity of this task prevents many people from pursuing legitimate claims, which allows companies to continue with unsafe, unlawful or unfair practices. At Paul McInnes LLP, we help bring groups of plaintiffs together to pursue justice, putting those seemingly David vs. Goliath battles onto equal ground. We have taken on the big corporations, and we have won numerous times. We are on your side when the stakes are high.

Pharmaceutical Litigation

When consumers take medications, the last thing they expect is to be harmed or suffer undisclosed negative side effects from those medicines. When this happens, Paul McInnes LLP steps in to help those who are affected. Pharmaceutical companies have a responsibility to ensure consumers are aware of a drug’s risks and that injury does not ensue. When companies are not fulfilling this responsibility, we bring groups of affected consumers together to pursue legal action and make sure further harm will not occur.

Medical Devices

Implanted medical devices are meant to help consumers. When they instead cause harm or injury, our firm brings the manufacturers to justice. The FDA helps keep dangerous devices from reaching the market, but when manufacturers do not fully disclose or falsify findings on a device, the public’s health can be put at risk. Examples of recent faulty devices include transvaginal mesh and heart defibrillators. We have the experience to make sure medical device manufacturers are bringing only safe, proven devices to the market for consumers.

Environmental Disasters

The damage being done to our planet by environmental disasters is immeasurable and often irreversible. Paul McInnes LLP believes those causing the most damage to our air, water and land need to be held responsible. When corporations knowingly or unknowingly release pollutants, we are all affected. Federal and state regulations exist to ensure dangerous pollutants and the risk of environmental disasters are minimized. However, as we saw in the BP Oil Spill, corporations do not always follow these regulations, and that puts all of us at risk. When the public environment or livelihood is harmed, we help ensure companies are made to pay and more importantly, prevent these disasters from happening again.
